Deacons and Elders are the elected leaders of our church. They serve for three-year terms. Elders serve on the Session, which is the governing body of the church. Typically, each Elders chairs a committee, which conducts and supervises the work of the church. Deacons lead the congregation in compassion, witness, and service by caring for individuals in need in the congregation and broader community.

Deacons assist elders by carrying out whatever service tasks need to be done. They also visit the sick, attend those in need, and assist with pastoral care. They also serve in classes of three year duration.
